PDFCreator 1.4.2 released

We are happy to release PDFCreatot 1.4.2 today. We have fixed some smaller things, which may have a big effect though. Among them is a crash of the pdfcmon.dll when the document title had more than 255 characters. We hope that you enjoy this new release!

After installation of 1.4.2 everything worked fine on the first glance, but: After start-up of Windows I alwas get an error message "Runtime Error" from Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. According to error repport it was caused by searchsettings.exe. My system: XP, SP3.

I could repeat the effect several times with un- / reinstall and did not find a remedy. So I reinstall the former version 1.3.2 which did not cause any problems.

Hello, I'm a first time user of the PDFCreator and wonder whether I can 'print' to it IF I HAVE NO printer installed! I have a 14" Acer Aspire laptop, W7 Ultimate and when in need to print I use an out printer via memory stick. Thanks for your help!
