An error has occured: Server Not Found. [1]

Hi
I am getting an intermittent issue with PDF Creator. I open a document (eg. a TIF file in Microsoft Document Imaging) then go to file > print, select the PDF Creator Printer and click ok but quite the PDF Creator save screen is not displayed and no pdf is created. At this stage it also usually displays an error "An error has occured: Server not found. [1]"
If you then close the document down and reopen it and retry it then sometimes works ok.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling PDF Creator but this still happens. I am using Windows XP SP2 which I am currently updating to SP3.
Any ideas how to resolve this issue would be appreciated.

Hi,
I am running into the same problem. However, I can't find the options to turn off the updates. I am running in Windows Server 2003
Is there another reason for this error? Can this be fixed?
I am running PDFCreator 0.9.7

Please go to Options -> General settings -> General settings 2 -> Set the Update check to Never. Check it again.
