Color problem

Hi

I inserted a bmp image into a word document.   This image has our company logo, in red and blue colors.   It looks fine in the word document.  When I convert it to pdf using PDFCreator, the image looks blurry or smeared.   I've tried every PDF color setting in PDFCreator, but get the sames bad results.    Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.
