I'm an intern and this Thursday I have my assessment, so that's why it is urgent to me.
When I create a multiple paged document in Word I cannot print it anymore to the PDFCreator. 1 Page is not a problem, but multiple pages are.
Is this a setting-issue? Or can it be something else? Last week it was possible to print multiple pages, but now it isn't possible anymore.
we are using pdfcreator for doing automatic pdf generation of word documents.
There is a visual basic 6 application which will handle pdf generator. It checks if there are any jobs. Also all the auto save settings are checked.
This all worked fine with older versions, but since version 0.9.9 we are getting the error below.
Is there anybody who can help us?
Thanks in advance,
I am using v0.9.9 and the new "profile" feature.
What I would like to do is create one profile which auto-saves, while other profiles don't. The purpose of this is to have "preview" function, effectively, for a legacy program that doesn't have preview built-in.
So, when the user prints, they can select the default profile or this "Preview" profile. When they select Preview and Save, then I would like PDFCreator to save the file as specified in the Autosave settings and open the file.
I have installed pdfcreator on an Server, shared it and connect it to various clients.
If i try to print out more then one Document a time, pdfcreator creates blank Documents.
Has anyone an idea why?
1) Does anyone know how to combine several pdfs together into one pdf file, using C# preferably?
2) Does anyone know how to combine pdfs and Word docs into one pdf file, using C# preferably?
I've gotten fairly close using
But then it just stays waiting in offline mode. I think I need to use the cCombineAll() method, but I'm not sure where.
I'm trying to print from word and I've set PDFCreator to save the file as TIF. When I print just a one page document it creates a 6MB file. Are there any settings to make the file significantly smaller?
When I use Microsoft's Image Writer, the same files is only 8KB.
we have developing an application that can export to pdf the documents and some times when I choose in the printer options the orientation, PDFCreator don't print with the right orientation. I am changing PDFCreator options changing the registry values. How I can specify the orientation in PDFCreator? I have tried to change the value of autorate flag but I have checked that this can't help me.
Can any help me please?
Hello everyone, I've been using PDFCreator for several years and have configured it both in standard mode and server mode previously. right now i am attempting to set up both on the same PC to run in parallel so that i would have 2 PDFCreator driven printers. One would prompt me save the file like normal, the other would automatically save the file and then print it to a physical printer. I know there is a way to create 2 sets of options and save an .ini file. but i cannot figure out how to specify that to the printer or re-director port.
I installed PDFcreator on a terminal server ( Win 2003 ). Default font for MS-Word is Calibri. When I change the default font to Arial and create a PDF from the page the € - sign is replaced by a square.
I presume it's font-related because the same test on my home computer worked out fine. Any suggestions ?
