PDFCreator 1.3.2 released

We have just published PDFCreator 1.3.2 to fix some problems that still have been present. The full list of changes can be found in the manual: http://www.pdfforge.org/content/whats-new

The most important issues should be the poor performance with large files and that PDFCreator stayed in memory after printing a file. Both is now solved, together with a few other small fixes and improvements.

Re: PDFCreator 1.3.2 released

When I try to print in A3 size PDF Creator generates a print in A4! Terrible!

Re: PDFCreator 1.3.2 released

if you want to split PDFs, you'd best use PDFArchitect that also comes with PDFCreator. regarding the text issue:

PDFCreator is only able to retain the text if the printing application tells the printer driver to store text. This is not always the case, but should be in most cases.

But for your tasks, the PDFArchitect should be the best solution.

Re: PDFCreator 1.3.2 released

I am new to PDFCreator. I use it to split pdf files or extract some pages out of a large pdf file. I downloaded v1.3.1 and tired to use it. But the pdf output I get does not let me select text. I then downloaded v1.3.2 but the problem is still the same.

What might be the problem or does PDFCreator always create pdf pages as image?

Thanks

Re: PDFCreator 1.3.2 released

Thank you for PDFCreator.

I recently upgraded to 1.3.1 and more recently to 1.3.2.

Both these upgrades seem to have a problem with one particular process.

I have been downloading and using PDFCreator to print crosswords from http://www.bestcrosswords.com/bestcrosswords/printable/Home.page

Each time I try to print the entire print spooler is deleted and I have to re boot.

Previous (to 1.3.1) versions all wotked OK - but not now.

I would be interested if I am the only one experiencing this. I am using Windows 7 Professional
